Certification Program Update

The ONC is pleased to announce that Robert Anthony recently transitioned into the role of the director of the Certification & Testing Division in ONC’s Office of Technology, where he will oversee the ONC Health IT Certification Program. Please find more information here.

 

Test Method Updates Recently Updated Test Procedures 2015 Edition Test Data Criterion Number Criterion Title Details § 170.315(g)(1) Automated numerator recording Per the CY2020 PFS final rule, removed Required Test 13 for ECs and updated Required Test 14 to note it is only applicable in 2019 for ECs. Per the CY2019 PFS final rule, added the EC measures for Required Test 13, 14, and 15. § 170.315(g)(2) Automated measure calculation Per the CY2020 PFS final rule, removed Required Test 13 for ECs and updated Required Test 14 to note it is only applicable in 2019 for ECs.

 

Recently Updated Test Data 2015 Edition Test Data Criterion Number Criterion Title Details § 170.315(g)(1) EP/EC Automated numerator recording Updated general note 12 to remove RT 13. Modified general note 14 removing RT 13 and clarifying that RT 14 is only applicable in 2019. Added general note 16 clarifying that RT 13 is no longer available for testing as it is now a Yes/No measure. § 170.315(g)(2) EP/EC Automated measure calculation Updated general note 15 to remove RT 13. Modified general note 16 removing RT 13 and clarifying that RT 14 is only applicable in 2019. Added general note 18 clarifying that RT 13 is no longer available for testing as it is now a Yes/No measure. Updated RT 15 to replace the “No” with 0 in the number of electronic summary of care records received column.
