The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has completed its second audit of SLI Compliance®’s Certification Body for Health IT. In addition to being and ATL, Authorized Test Lab, SLI Compliance is an ONC-ACB, an Authorized Certification Body in the Health IT Certification program of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC).

In 2017, we were audited prior to authorization as an ACB, and in October and November 2018, ANSI returned for a surveillance assessment. These audits help ensure that SLI’s Health IT Certification services work effectively and conform to the required standard, ISO/IEC 17065 (requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services). Since March 2018, SLI Compliance has completed over a dozen certifications. ANSI identified two findings in the latest audit, neither of which affected the core certification process. This is an excellent result for a certification body that has been operating for less than a year. Our ACB team is pleased with the result and will continue working to improve both our quality system and our services.
