WHEAT RIDGE, CO (June 28, 2018) – On June 2nd, 2018 the SLI Compliance® team along with parent company GLI® participated in the 2018 Denver Heart & Stroke Walk which took place at Mile High Stadium. For the past two years, SLI Compliance and GLI have also held their own events the week leading up to the walk as a way to raise money for the Denver Heart Walk and the American Heart Association. SLI and GLI collected $1111.11 in donations for the 2018 event.
One of GLI’s employees, Mark Robertson, a heart attack survivor, was recognized before the event by the American Heart Association. Mark was nominated by his wife as a survivor who has made changes in his life style that have impacted his quality of life and improved his health.
The American Heart Association was able to raise $1,725,050.00 total through the 2018 Denver Heart and Stroke Walk.
