WHEAT RIDGE, CO (June 12, 2019) – SLI Compliance® will be attending and presenting at the 9th Annual State Certification Testing of Voting Systems National Conference in Sacramento, CA, June 13th-14th, 2019. This year’s conference, hosted by the California Secretary of State’s Office of Voting Systems and Technology Assessment, aims to share ideas and solutions for ensuring voting and election system reliability, transparency and integrity through better testing of systems. The primary goal of the conference is to provide a venue for practitioners and academics to share best practices for voting system testing and management, to explore more efficient and effective methods for testing and implementing voting and election systems, and to identify common challenges and potential mitigations to those challenges. Additionally, the conference is meant to be a vehicle to improve the flow of information between the federal, state, county, and municipality testing entities.
Representing SLI will be Sr. Test Manager, Mike Santos, who will be conducting a presentation on testing at both the state and federal levels. Mr. Santos’s presentation will take place from 10-12pm PST on Thursday June 12th. SLI Compliance is an accredited Voting System Test Laboratory (VSTL) and provides a full range of voting system testing and election support services to state and federal projects, technology vendors, and the international community. More information on SLI Compliance’s 2018 presentation will be forthcoming.
