The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) has released an updated version of the Health IT Playbook, an online resource designed to help physician practices adopt, upgrade, optimize, and /or change EHR systems. This new version includes a new section on Reducing Health IT Burden, a new interactive module to help clinicians understand APIs and how they affect EHR data, and updates to the Security Risk Assessment Tool to help providers comply with the HIPAA Security Rule.
