Intermittent knowledge checks and assessments give learners the ability to confirm their understanding of the eLearning’s contents as they progress. If they score poorly in any one area, they may return to the content and retake it to fill any gaps in their current understanding. Furthermore, their successes can and should be tracked on a Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS not only can be used as your delivery platform, but it will give you information on who has completed the eLearning and how they scored on it if you are including an assessment. This will give you the confidence and data to support that your staff has not just taken the eLearning, but that they understood the course materials.
There are many LMSs available. SLI Compliance can help you determine which LMS best fits your organization and choose one that can report on the learners who have started and completed training, as well as reporting learners’ scores on assessments.
